LONG CREEK — Mary L. Blickle, 95, of Oak Park died Tuesday (Sept. 7, 2010).

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Dawson and Wikoff Funeral Home, Mount Zion. Visitation will be 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday in Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, Oak Park and 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dawson and Wikoff Funeral Home, Mount Zion. Mary was born April 18, 1915, in Long Creek, the daughter of Roy and Bessie Nowlin Heckel. She was the sixth cousin of President Abraham Lincoln. She married Walter F. Blickle.

Surviving are her loving son, James (fiancée Charlotte Schloemer); cherished grandchildren, Eric and Matthew Blickle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband.
